The markers are filled with a water-based color that possess full coverage which largely means that you can paint on darker surfaces and that a yellow color, for example, will cover a blue color. The color is permanent once dried and can be applied on almost every surface (rocks, wood, glass, paper, metal, leather/canvas). The marker is manufactured in Japan.
